10:00 AM - 12:00 PM    Swish Basketball Training Program - Swish 3-Week Summer 2020 Program
Details: This 3 week program on Tuesdays and Thursdays is designed to create a safe and fun environment for boys and girls to improve their basketball skills and athletic abilities. Our goal is for participants to see positive changes in their skill and functional strength, as the program is designed to progressively increase load and difficulty each session. Each session is approximately 2 hours and includes a dynamic warmup, a 45 minute basketball session focusing on skill development, and a 45 minute Strength, Agility, and Conditioning session focusing on teaching fundamental movements, the importance of taking care of your body, and exercises translation to athletic performance, ending with a group cool down. We have built in time for athletes to hydrate and recover while we prepare, clean and sanitize equipment in between skill and training sessions!Coaches include:Eric Demers: Eric founded Swish Performance Training in May of 2020. Eric recently graduated from Gordon College where he led the entire NCAA in scoring at 34PPG. Eric is the All-Time Scoring Leader in Gordon College History at 2,553 points. Eric has been training youth athletes for the past 5 years with experience working with ages 5 to 20. Ariana Moran: Ari has an impressive resume receiving her Bachelor Degree from Boston University in Science In Athletic Training as well as receiving her Masters from Old Dominion University. Ari currently is the head athletic trainer at Gordon College. She is a certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist. Ari will be running the Strength, Conditioning, Agility and Mobility for Swish Performance. Ari has the following certifications: MSAT, LAT, ATC, CPT & CES.In case of weather cancellations, make ups will be the next day.
