2026-2027 Monthly Tuition Fees:
2 Days per week: $231/month
3 Days per week: $308/month
4 Days per week: $374/month
5 Days per week: $439/month
The Hornet’s After School Program is a full time after school program that offers a safe, supportive alternative between school and home for the children of Manchester-by-the-Sea in grades K - 5. The Hornet’s After School Program is run by the Manchester Parks and Recreation Department. Heather DePriest, the Program Director for the Parks and Recreation Department has run the After School Program since its inception in January 2007.
After School Program Activity Schedule
Grades K-2- 3:00-3:30
Cafeteria to eat snack & free time in the cafeteria.
Grades 3-5- 3:00-3:30
Gym to play an organized game. If the Gym is being used the playground is the location.
Grades K-2- 3:30-4:00
Gym to play an organized Game. If the Gym is being used the playground is the location.
Grades 3-5- 3:30-4:00
Cafeteria to eat snack & free time in the cafeteria.
Grades K-2 & Grades 3-5-4:00-5:00
Both groups come together for crafts and gym games
Grades K-5- 5:00-6:00
All grades comes together for homework time and free play
