Family Hike with North Shore Nature Program Sponsored by the Hooper Fund

Have you and your family wanted to explore the woods here in Manchester but didn't know where to start? Then this program is just for you. This program is for families with school age children in grades K-5. All children must be accompanied by an adult on the hike. Facial masks are required and we will practice social distancing. A Covid wellness form must be signed by each participant at the hike. 

Explore the wonderful outdoors with Andrew Prazer, Owner and Director of North Shore Nature Programs. Andrew will lead this family hike into the woods to Agassiz Rock. Andrew will teach basic wilderness skills, forage for wild edibles, search for water sources and learn to build a debris shelter. 

Two dates are available, please pick the date that best works for your family. Once registered, the instructor will send you a suggestion of appropriate clothing and needs for the hike. We expect to do the hike in winter weather unless the weather poses safety challenges.
